We cannot express how happy we’ve been with H&H Learning. Our daughter with ASD, ADHD and other speech and learning disabilities was facing a grueling, unhappy High School experience, placed in a non-diploma track program.  She was frustrated and quite discouraged - then we found H&H. The wonderful folks at H&H, with great patience and skills, knew how to accommodate her needs, by breaking down the steps to learning, finding ways to keep her attending and enjoying the process of learning. My daughter’s interests in music (Taylor Swift!) and various other topics became part of the learning experience. The teachers at H&H believed in my child when others’ didn’t, didn't give up, and found ways to teach, with humor and great kindness. A few weeks ago we celebrated my daughter’s High School Diploma. We don’t believe that this would have been possible without H&H.

Zoe has done incredible work with our son. First of all, from our parent meetings with her, it is clear that she totally "gets" him and understands his struggles and his strengths. She is so intelligent and thoughtful, and my husband and I are so impressed with her every time we meet with her. She also has a great relationship with my son; he only has positive things to say about their sessions together. The protocols she uses with him in session are very targeted towards his specific needs. We definitely see benefits from their work together. For example, since he has been working with Zoe, my husband and I have noticed that our son has been elaborating more when articulating things about his life (my parents also saw this on a recent visit). He also struggles with mental imagery, and lately, he has been saying more things that indicate growth in that area, too. Finally, after every session, Zoe sends detailed notes about their sessions so we know exactly what they have been working on. I highly recommend H & H to anyone whose child has academic or other learning struggles, and I'm so glad we found them!

H&H Learning has truly been a blessing for us. My daughter finished high school last year and has special needs. The team at H&H was quick to learn about her and how best they could make an impact on her academics as well as learning abilities. We’ve witnessed tremendous progress in her reading comprehension, executive functioning, and math skills. The weekly progress summaries are invaluable. I only wish we had found H&H earlier as the academic enrichment they provide far exceeds anything we received from the school system.

Our 14-year-old son was diagnosed with dyslexia when he was in first grade. Since then, we have explored every option to help him learn to read and spell. He struggled and was frustrated with learning. We tried numerous programs outside of school as well. It wasn't until he started working with Zoe that we saw a real improvement. He was beginning to understand and learn to read and write. He enjoys his sessions with Zoe; she is wonderful with him. Zoe is patient; she can keep him on track and makes learning fun for him. We do all our sessions on Zoom. When I asked our son what he would say about working with Zoe, he said, " I love it." Both of my children have worked with Gabrielle and Zoe for 5+ years. One of my kids has global learning differences and needs a huge amount of remediation and intervention alongside their school (which is a learning differences school). My other child has ADHD and needs scaffolding and strategies to be able to thrive in their fast-paced mainstream learning environment.

Whilst my children have very different learning needs and challenges, they have both been helped immeasurably by the H&H team. The individualization Gabrielle and Zoe are able to create for each child, and the skill, flexibility, compassion, empathy, fun and creativity with which they do that is truly remarkable. They both care deeply, and they both give above and beyond, every step of the way. Our whole family is so grateful to them both, and has benefited so much from their skillful intervention.
